If the ISI was involved Hamid Mir wouldn't be alive today.
Oh bhai ISI accepted their ineptness on May 2, 2011. I dont want to remind you of the high profile attacks that have taken place on Army installations during the past decade.

Yeah but you can't compare that to the alleged 'assassination attempt' of mr.immortal(hamida mir).
I don’t believe that, and i don’t know why you hate jews but there are people in America that also doubt the official story, many prominent people like Willie Nelson,Jesse Ventura and Charlie Sheen have questioned it and the American gov has killed it’s own citizens in the past as a pretext to start a a war in another country.
If ISI is involved, rest assured there will be no evidence...no one can face upto the real rulers.
The problem with this line of thinking is that it's a loose-loose situation for the accused. How can you ever disprove that you were involved? If no evidence points to you, well then you're obviously guilty because you suppressed it. If evidence does come out against you, then you're guilty again.
I find it hard to believe that ISI is this inept. They might suck at their actual job but, by God, they know how to kill undesirable citizens of our own. If Hamid Mir was telling all and sundry about ISI's determination to target him, don't you think that the ISI might have known about it especially when they are monitoring journalists as claimed by all prominent journalists. They might have ensured plausible deniability instead of acting like a neighborhood thug. There's more at play here than meets the eye.
ISI might be a terrible intelligence agency; they might've wronged all kinds of people; they might need reigning in. All that doesn't excuse GEO's drama for a second. The attack on Hamid Mir is quite separate from ISI's past misdeeds and you need a lot more substantiation before you start blaming your own intelligence agency which has been the focus of a concerted international propaganda campaign for years.

some times you dont want to kill some one you just want to pass the signals. ISI has succeeded in their job, all media is standing behind them now. There will be no reporting on their excesses in Baluchistan and other areas for a period to come.

Here the "signal" could've been sent by just planting a bomb, or few shots on the car (not himself), but 'injuring with six bullets' does not look like 'signal' to me.
Munafiqat, munafuqat.......... In pakistan the loyalty of ISI and Army lies to their institution and they don't care about Pakistan. What good have they done in 67 years. To start with Babra day massacre in which hundreds of followers of Bacha Khan (khudai khidmatgars) were killed, 1971 they raped bangali women, in 1965 they lost the war against India, 1999 Kargil war, baloch and pakhtoon killing, in the last decade they attacked lal masjid, aerial bombing of innocent pakhtoons in tribal areas and the list will continue well in the future. Pakistan is not their JAHGIR, Baloch and pakhtoons were the resident of their areas well before the creation of pakistan.
I see bleak and dark future for Pakistan and pakhtoon and baloch will suffer the most. As Bacha Khan said to Gandhi, you have thrown us to the wolves, now enjoy the wolves.

That is a very nice post. Pretty much sums up the situation.
ISI is no angel. But it very unlikely that it did it this time. And Jang went overboard in trying to malign ISI using this attack as an excuse.

lol you sound like a Pashtoon nationalist; Bacha Khan and his party were separatists, they forgot how they're Afghan brothers massacred the Hazara majority in Afghanistan and repopulated under their pashtoonization scheme.
Yes, the Pakistani army raped Bengali womens and rape is weapon of war, in fact almost every army, the Americans,Indians,Israelis,Afghans etc use rape unfortunately, but it's old weapon of war and Bengali rebels like the Mukhti Bahini raped Urdu-speaking(Bihari) women in east Pakistan, just look up the Mirpur massacre, so the Pak army ain't no different.
1999 Kargil war was in retaliation for Indians occupation of the Siachen glacier in 1982, but this time you beloved Nawaza humiliated Pakistan.
The '65 war was a mistake, Pakistan should've liberated Kashmir during the sino-indian war of '62.
There is another reason why it does not appear to be an ISI work.
The attack happened in Karachi, which is a Talibanized city. (Just disregard our pathologically obsessed friend here who reads everything 'Karachi' as 'MQM').
Besides KP, it is Karachi where every ugly Taliban policy shows its face.
This is not the city very suitable for ISI to do such a dirty job. It would rather have chosen Rawalpindi or Lahore to do it. But it is a city ideal for organizations which thrive in lawlessness. Organizations like Taliban.
I see bleak and dark future for Pakistan and **pakhtoon **and baloch will suffer the most.
That reminded me of an interview with a Baloch nationalist leader. I forgot the name. He said: "Pashtun** Punjabiyon ke saath mil kar khaate hein aur Balochon ke saath mil kar rotay hein**!"
