“PTI’s vice president and member core committee, MNA Naz Baloch, claimed on her twitter that Hamid Mir has resigned from Geo TV. If this turned out to be true it is going to be a major blow to Geo Network who just recently lost its famous anchor Kamran Khan.”
The news was in the air for some time now. My argument against this rumor was that Hamid will be a liability instead of an asset given his tussle with security agencies. I will still find it hard to believe if he leaves Geo and joins some other group.
