Islamabad, July 6 - While most controversial anchor Mubashir Luqman has joined ARY News, anchor Hamid Mir and company are fretting upon the
management of the ARY for its decision.
Calling Luqman a “paratrooper” Mir says it is a shame that our media is determined to hire such a person.
“We should protest against those channels that hire non-professional journalists and give them prime time to do their programme,” Mir says.
Luqman on the other hand says: “I have joined ARY News. I know there was lot of speculation about that but since I just signed my contract hence I am
informing you all.” Lucman further told PakDestiny: “I know there are many like Mir in the industry who are disturbed for my joining the mainstream channel
but remember my rating is much better than some self-claimed top anchors. And it will grow further after off-air controversy.”
While Mir and others are criticising Lucman’s joining ARY they forget to lament Amir Liaquat’s joining Geo Network. If Amir despite earning bad name for all
bad reasons can be taken back by Mir Ibrahim there should not be any surprise in Lucman’s case.
As Luqman told his close circle that he would never hesitate targeting CJ Iftikhar and company from his new platform, let’s see the CJ acts or keeps the
mum.
As Abdur Razaak and company have old enmity with Mir Shakeelur Rehman there was every reason for them to hire a man hated most by Geo family.

ARY hired another controversial morning show host Maya Khan. Earlier, Channel 5 had hired Salman Butt for expert comments during the ICC World Cup. I don't know if Pemra took any action over the planted interview of Malik Ria or not, but we see while Mehere Bukhari continues to be on air without any problem, Mubashar Luqman is being given another platform to resume his career.
Do we still believe that it's only the political lot that is pathetic? Besides, I don't know how will he muster courage to question his guests on corruption and other pressing issues of everyday life.

I think she left, after she heard of Amir liaquat reappoinment on GEO
Good for her. Veisey, did she have a personal issue with him like harassment or something ?
Even though just being around such a person is kind of nauseating in itself.
Interestingly, I have noticed that even Hasan Nisaar's episodes of Mere Mutaabiq have been missing lately and the nice, smart girl Maria Memon who did that show is now doing Sana's show but she does not look very happy doing Lekin.

So Mubashir is accepting that he was on a loser channel before ?
I am surprised Dunyia was dumb enough to let him do a show to defend himself after which he split the channel.
Pathetic ARY for taking him and pathetic GEO for taking back the other fool.

Exactly lol. People wonder how he'll have the guts to question his guests about corruption and such.... the fact that he's boasting about his popularity due to the controversy goes to show how dead his conscience is.
Would you rather watch ALH or Sana ?
I don't watch these programmes, just listen to the news or read the papers. But like others said, Talat Hussain over any of these jokers any day.
