Hamid Gul: Mumbai inside job

“When you look at the full spectrum of possibilities, who could have done it, then one knows that Samjhauta Express was a similar case, in which Pakistan ISI was accused. But it turned out that it was the militant Hindus themselves who had killed 68 passengers in that train, and that it was an inside job,”

Good on him, I don’t care what people say about him but he’s courageous enough to say what he said and no caring about filling his pockets like other ignorant imbeciles.

Re: Hamid Gul: Mumbai inside job

Did he say anything about Faridkotia Ajmal Amir? :p

Re: Hamid Gul: Mumbai inside job

Pakistan should re-appoint him the head of ISI. :)

Re: Hamid Gul: Mumbai inside job

*^infact that is sad.
we can count good man ,in Pakistan, on one hand.
I wish every one so loyal and honest. *

In what way was Samjhauta Blast and Mumbai attack similar?? The Samjautha attack was targeted at people travelling in a train which was carrying mainly people from Pakistan .... while as Mumbai was an attack primarly aimed at Indian civilians and foerign nationals....

Also the materials used were totally different ..... Samjautha blast was caused prinamrly by mixing chemicals to light a fire and most of the people killed were becuase of this fire and smoke. Mumbai was an attack carried out by a group of well trained men !!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no similarity ....... in any case the colonel was not arrested for Samjautha blast !!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Hamid Gul: Mumbai inside job

^ But who did the Indians immediately blame for samjhota again?

Since you are keen … non Indian source

BBC NEWS | South Asia | Dozens dead in India train blasts

The reaction from both governments suggests the prime suspects might be groups such as Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad, the main Islamic militant groups who have been blamed for many high-profile bombings, says the BBC’s Jill McGivering

^ Data's question was this:

**"But who did the Indians immediately blame for samjhota again?"

**Now can you answer that?

They blamed the jehadi elements in Pakistan .... just as the Pakistani government itself was aiming toward same culprits .....

Was that a result of thorough indian investigation?

That was an intial reaction .... considering the circumstances ... and that was both from India and Pakistan ..... however an investigation is going on and more leads were available .... it has now been "linked" to the Malegaon blasts .....

The Mumbai blasts are completely different from what happened in Samjautha express ..... apart from circumstantial evidence there is a "physical" dimension to the evidence that is available ......

So in other words, indians should have waited a little more before throwing allegations and creating all the hue and cry.

Within first 24 hours while the operation was still going on, the PM comes on TV and announces it was the work of neighbors. This is very very irresponsible - to say the least!

Tell me the last time Pak PM, or president has done that.

And mind you we still have to see official hard evidence. Not what media or politicians say.

Now you can switch this to Mumbai attack and Indians for Pakistanis.

There was an initial reaction that it was some inside job....however as more evidence emerged it showed there might be some links to LeT.

^ So who exposed Melgaon blast and linked it to samjhota express ? Is it Pakistani govt or Pakistani media?
If it was an inside job why would they take action against their own man.

It doesnt matter does it.Your govt. is acting ( seem to be) on the terrorist.

That is different thing, we are just mentioning how the govs and people react initially to an incident, for India its always Pakistan to blame, so its no wonder if Pakistan denies accusations till you provide proof.

yeah for indians it doesn't matter.

On each and everything shouting at once "Pak did it...".

Well you lose your credibility and give wind to doubts (which we BTW still have).

I wouldn't be surprised if after few months more hinduist terrorists are found involved in this horrible act.

Waited for what ...... the intial reaction from the PM did not name Pakiatan to begin with .... Infact every one was upset in India that the PM had not commented on the attacks . He took the time & by that time some intial information was available. After all geting a "live" one was as big as a proof you can get. if all of them had died ... it would have been difficult to pin anything on anyone ... deadmen dont tell any tales.

But the guy who was caught started singing like a canary .... what other proof was required ...... i mean do you still doubt that the person caught is not from Pakistan !!!!!!

Fair enough ..... but i think it was not only a matter of proof .... LET is not a pushover that Pakistan government would have acted against them.

They have strong support in the establishment .... that is the reason why when last time they were banned and their leadership arrested , as a compromise formula from US, they were able to get back on track.

By the way tell me one thing .... why did Pakistani government act against LET. I mean they must have some "proof" to act against them ...... they were all along saying they have not seen any proof ... so when exactly did they see this proof. The last person from India / US to have a contact with Pakistan government was Condi Rice & they issued a statement after she left that they have not seens any proof. So when exactly did they "see" the proof. Or was it all along they had"seen" the proof .... they just wanted sometime to get their act together. After all meeting was organised of all the parties by the PM ... was it called to share the information and take all the parties into confidence !!!!! The Pakistani government has to come clean on this "proof" !!!

Have you heard him? I have not.

Why don't invite the Pak investigators and let them see for themselves (along with some neutrals), that would clarify a lot of stuff.

They will obviously raise questions, which should be answered.

No hard evidence ... at the moment it is just a trial by media and thus for us a foul cry from indian side as always.
