Okay this concept is very strange and peculiar for me, but increasingly the Hamd’s and Naat’s airing on the Pakistani Channels are these full production numbers with those reciting these sacred verses delivering with all the glitz and glamour of POP stars with multiple camera angles, rock star Jesus Christ Poses etc etc and actual POP Stars singing Hamds set to full fledged musical numbers is another closely related phenomenon
What do you guys think of this strange trend…

I am not a naat person (though I don't mind listening to them). While some naats are ok, others just go far beyond praising Muhammad (s.a.w) more than what He should get. And I don't get one thing, When we have Quran & Sunnah to follow, why do we go to naats?

I know what you mean these are essentially love songs that they just replace Muhammad (SAW) for the object of their affection, and the production just makes them ego vehicles for those reciting, making them look all...star like...while these should be humble, peaceful offerings..
