Defintion of culture may vary, but it is what we are facing here and now.
So for me it is a mixture of Pakistani traditions, Islam and the pardesi culture
I am only referring to that part of culture, which is Pakistani and those tradtions which are contradictions to ISlam.

Hampf, Can I tell Pia Kjærskov that you don’t appreciate the free Danish culture? I’m from Zealand, Dk and you?

Anyway, the problems that you’ve mentioned are just a part of our culture - great literature, art, colourful festivals, hospitality, great history etc etc are all part of our culture. It’s not fair to start a discussion by generalizing any culture based on its negative aspects.
You know what, if you want to read about some nice aspects of Pak culture, search for ‘Roman’ and ‘NYAhmadi’ on this forum, you wont be disappointed. And if you want to discuss what you’ve already written in you post that’s good too, you’ll just have to explain a lil’ more

And Welcome to Gupshup, I know you’ll like it here
