The other day I went to Garden Ridge and saw that those people were merchandising their Halloween stuff, the masks , costumes, candy etc. etc.
I do not know if Halloween is as big in UK , Australia , Canada as it is in USA .
Do you, or ,are you not in celebrating it enthusiatically ? Do you go whole nine yards , like costume and all or just go for candy collection on Halloween night ?

for lil' kids its trick or treat...

for college goers its still about dressing sleazy, and having a blast at the party. I'm heading to a Halloween concert featuring Tantric, Sick Puppies, Tickle Me Pink

I do not celebrate halloween :snooty:

I did visit haunted house in 2006 when I was in pittsburgh though… it was fun :smiley:

i'm not going to send my children to beg for sweets but there're lots of things that we need to do with pumpkins in our Home Education thing, so halloween is a good season for buying pumpkins on discount.

I dotn like adult holloween parties ---
adults always ruin them with skimpy costumes!!!

I used to go trick or treat when I was younger...just for the candy :)
I have also been to my share of Halloween parties in school & college days...also some that friends have thrown in recent years. I mean its kinda fun to try & dress up and stuff, the whole theme is fun to create. I haven't thrown Halloween party myself though.

I have been to the Halloween Parade in the Village in NYC...I will refrain from commenting here...but besides some of the crazy drag queen types, some very creative costumes...very "fun" atmosphere.....hehe

going out for candy collection ,a no no for me + kids
but for kids i think it's fun to attend a party & get all dressed up , as for myself i think i won't attend succha party , reason ?? i haven't came up with a right costume for myself as yet

this is our familys fav. holiday. everything from dressup 2 candy. i have been known to steal candy from my kids. usually i tend 2 put together last minute costumes. will start decorating next week 4 it. usually go 4 scary yard decor myself.

I take my kids out in the evening for trick or treating... I do not wear any costumes but my kids love their new look that day!

I have never taken my kids to the malls - is it fun? I'm thinking about it this year...

we did mall long time ago once. it was boring for my kids. they had us walk in line from store 2 store where kids got 1 piece of candy or a coupon. but then again it might have been that it was a small mall in a small town. maybe your mall will do it grand.

last year my kids got Chinese menus from 3 Chinese food place with a small candy!
and a new Dr's office was giving out pens with their name and address on it!
