In Urdu “Lawki” or Lawky / Lawkee / Lauki / Lauky / Laukee / Loki / Loky / Lokee. There are different varieties of bottle gourd with slight or almost negligible variation in tastes.
Some people wrongly refer to it as Kaddu in Urdu, which is a name of another vegetable.

In Urdu “Kaddu” or Kaddoo / Qaddu / Qaddoo. Some people wrongly use the urdu name “Kaddu” for “Bottle Gourd”. It should not be mixed though since Bottle Gourd has its own urdu translation.
