Halle Barry in Catwoman

I just heard on the radio that Halle’s stunt double for the film is a Hawaiian man!!
Now doesnt that make all you boys who have been checking her out sick?

You think that's bad Mizz Angel? You know Angelina Jolie's stunt double in the Tomb Raider movies was also a man!

:rotfl:
Caution: Please double check your partners and pockets..:rotfl:

Also, all the dance scenes in Flashdance were done by a Cuban man, not Jennifer Beale.

:hehe:

If he looks anything like Halle Berry he might be worth checking out anyway...

Saw the movie last night…was good (would give it a B rating) but to be honest I was expecting a lot better…I guess something along the lines of the Batman movies…Halle looked stunning as usual especially in that leather cat suit…Benjamin Bratt is one sexy babe…Sharon Stone looks good and is confidently embracing her age as evident in the movie.

:flower1:

I saw the preview so won’t bother watching it because it MUST be an awfully boring movie! :nook:

I think she’s cute

CATWOMAN (2004)

Star: Halle Berry, Benjamin Bratt, Lambert Wilson, Sharon Stone and Frances Conroy.
Director: Pitof

RS RATING: 2/10

Hollywood is cashing on its new found fantasy for comic book characters. So, after Spiderman, Hulk, Daredevil etc we get to see Halle Berry in a body-tight, revealing black leather outfit, stiletto heels and whip-cracking D.C. Comics protagonist, Catwoman.

Like Spiderman (Peter parker), Catwoman is the story of shy and sensitive Patience Philips (Halle Berry), a woman who can't seem to stop apologizing for her own existence. She works in a mammoth cosmetics company as a graphic designer. The company is on the verge of releasing a revolutionary anti-aging product. Patience finds out something she's not supposed to and takes an unfortunate spill that ends her life. Of course she's brought back to life by some sort of Egyptian cat-magic (don’t use your brain, just believe what they show you in the movie) and becomes the feral, ferocious, untamed Catwoman and sets out to find who killed her and why! Her adventures are complicated by the entry of a cop Tom Lone (Benjamin Bratt) who falls in love with her on the very first sight. Tom loves Patience but is chasing mysterious Catwoman who appears to be responsible for series of crimes happening across the city.

Halle Berry seems to have a blast playing both the modest and shy Patience Philips on one hand and vicious Catwoman, who seems to walk on a thin rope between good and bad, on the other. But we don’t get to know much of her before she dies and gets transformed into catwoman. So, we don’t really feel sorry for her and notice her transformation. Benjamin Bratt hasn’t got much to do except romance Patience and try to figure out who Catwoman is. But there is no chemistry between Bratt and Halle and the romance angle doesn’t work at all. Sharon Stone as the maniac wife and villain makes you feel sorry for the state of her career. Catwoman is a bad career choice for Halle Berry and it is nothing but 105 minutes of half cooked meal

Who really cares.
Halle Berry looks like a chusa hua aam/chupkali.

:hehe: Men like that make me feel more and more masculine everyday

LOL ... you gotta wonder what kinda shape that guy is ?
Did they have to pad him to be more curvy ? Or is he the kinda guy whose body any woman would kill for !!

What a dumb movie. Saw it on saturday. Everything is just exagerated.

although it is not an awarding movie - it is what it is ... an entertaining super-heroine movie - I enjoyed it.

The special effects of Catwoman's movements leaves something to be desired, but the movie is not half as bad as the reviews and what is posted here - and no one can "meow" like Eartha Kitt - Halle is no exception but she did alright - Halle deserves a lot of credit for even being able to complete the movie considering the stress she was under divorcing her husband.

i could have sworn that in one scene while Catwoman was leaping from rooftops - she looked animated in the closeup - Also at the end of the movie when the cop was stood up by Catwoman in a restaurant - I think the guy sitting alone at the table in front of the cop was MJ.

Go see the movie. The criticisms are unfair.

EDIT: Also, if you think Janet Jackson has one mean walk across the stage --- you've got to see Halle's mean walk across the rooftops. The girl can "Work it".

Totally Agree, one hell of a walk (61,62, 61, 62, 61,62 etc)

And you only enjoy these kind of movies if you watch them as comedy:)
