^But if they were doing so well earning cash you’d expect them to be living in wealthier parts of the UK, not the poorer parts.. of course there are exceptions but it does seem that most Pakistanis (and Bangladeshis) live in the more deprived areas of the country.. If you go to a lot of desi areas there are soooo many men just standing around on the streets when u’d think they would be at work or something..

Also, as people become wealthier, more eductated they tend to marry from their ‘host’ countries in the west, the 50% of Pakistani women, 40% of men born and brought up in the UK still marrying from back in Pakistan is a bit worrying in that it seems that marriage is being used to bring over relatives who are then carrying on the cycle.. I don’t mean it in a racist way (good for those girls and guys who do genuinely fall in love or prefer to marry a ‘back homer’) but if so many keep on doing it I would assume it’s prob holding the community back as a whole..

I don’t think US or Canadian Pakistanis are living anywhere near as badly as those in the UK..

I am not sure about UK but in Canada and US, families of 4..5..6 living in 2 bedroom subsidized apartments yet begum gets 6 soney ki new chooriaan every 6 months, kids have latest games, cell phones and father shops at The Bay.

they normally dont want to suspect Tax authorities by their lavish neighborhood address plus lavish neighborhood never has subsidised living available.
