Can anyone help me here?
I ordered a history book for 60 bucks about a week ago, the order has not been confirmed and I gave them my credit card # and all the other info.
The book hasn’t arrived in mail and I checked the order status, and it says waiting to be confirmed.
Has anybody ever used this Half.com (ebay affiliate) website for ordering college books?
And how long did it take for their books to arrive in mail?
And they don’t have a single link where I can talk to a half.com assistant, all of the emails received have been automated.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have bought and sold many books on half.com. ALl my transactions went smoothly. The seller has 24 hours to confirm his sale. Looks like that hasn't happened in your case. Did you try emailing the seller directly?. The confirmation must take place before he sends you the book.
Check your credit card account and see if it has been charged with the amount.
i like this site...i have bought some stuff and got it on time..one time though i ordered something and i didnt get anything..no email either..i think the company ran out of that kind of computer
if ur book isnt coming meaning they are sold out
I have experined that too... in yahoo while shopping for degital cameras.. companies offer lucrartive prices but when one places an order after giving all info.. they send an email saying item is out of stock..these suckers cant say on their sites if teh thing is not in stock!

Just got an email from Half.com, they say that the seller couldn't confirm my order but when I checked my account info online, it says Half.com/ebay has taken $73.00 out of my account, I don't know what to do. :(

No, you will get your money back but it might take a long time before you get it. Email them here](https://half.ebay.com/help/index.cfm?helpsection=help_wizard_c&node_id=102144&level=3&answerq=no) and explain to them the whole situation in detail. Don’t forget to include your id and order number.
BTW, usually when I purchase books, I have found Amazon to be cheaper than Half.com. Dunno why or may be its just with my books but 9 outta 10 times, Amazon was lower than Half.com.
