haldi and yoghurt for face?

I had a few pimples and a friend suggested to use haldi and yogurt and apply as a paste and leave on an.hour.

I.am.very cynical but this was.something that worked.

Does.this work for anyone else.

Sorry about.the fullstops everywhere.my phone is playing up.

Re: haldi and yoghurt for face?

yougurt worked for my skin too...havent used it with haldi though

Re: haldi and yoghurt for face?

Is the other stuff not working?

Re: haldi and yoghurt for face?

I was using it for some time and I felt a lil difference I wanted to continue but gave up because of the stain.** How do you remove the stain?** For some reason I wont like to use facewash after this mask.

Re: haldi and yoghurt for face?

Yeah nadz you should totally try it. Don't put too much haldi because then it will stain your face yellow. Just put a little dash of haldi in the yogurt so it's a light yellow paste (rather than the uptan color).
Haldi is full of antioxidants and is highly anti inflammatory. It will calm down the acne naturally.

Don't put it on for an hour though. That's too long. Just put it on for about 15 minutes or so, or until it dries, and then wash it off. I find it easy to wipe off masks with a wet towel first so it's less messy.

Oh, and don't talk or smile while you have it on so you don't get premature wrinkles :)

Re: haldi and yoghurt for face?

Cool.

The stain comes off. I usually put it on at night.wash after an.hour. then.sleep.then wash face in.morning again and its gone. Takes 2-3 washes

Re: haldi and yoghurt for face?

Use a toner after washing and the yellow stain should come off. As nidakibachi has already mentioned, you dont need too much haldi...just a pinch will do.

Re: haldi and yoghurt for face?

And it.gets rid.of.acne? What about the red.marks.left by acne?.

Re: haldi and yoghurt for face?

There is one different species of haldi...we call it 'ambe halad' in Marathi language. The scientific name of this species is 'Curcuma amada' and the regular haldi is 'Curcuma longa'.

The medicinal properties of both these types of haldi are quite similar. This 'ambe halad' does not stain the skin. Try and see if you can lay your hands on this variety.
