Dear Brothers & Sisters,
The following is an URGENT appeal to all MUSLIMS worldwide to sign a
petition which will inshallah help forward our case to National and
International Goverments to officially recognise the Halal Trademark.
PLEASE, PLEASE for the sake of Allah and for the benefit of “Your”
future, please take a moment to sign it, support it and then pass it on.
This is OUR Case (Struggle). Lets be United in this case. The victory
will belong to Muslims, need to stand up for our very own rights! If we
wont then no one will.

The following is a petition to Internationally recognise the “Halal
Trademark” that guarantees a product which complies with the Islamic
Sacred Law the Shariah. Please do take a few minutes off your time to

and abroad.
This will surely affect every male/female Muslim in the world! ! ! .
Please try and fight for your rights to have Halal recognised products
worldwide. If Napster can secure 100,000 signatures to stay online then
what’s 5 million between 1.3 billion Muslims??

Sister this is really a great thing that they are doing

I know this halal and haram thing is a big issue for people living in non-muslim countries, well, atleast it was for me when i was eating in the school cafetaria. Anyways i’ve heard many opinions about what is and isn’t lawful, when i was in houston most pakistanis told me that ‘as long as you say Bismi’Allah then it is halal’ Also heard that,’ the meat in the indian-pakistani stores isn’t really halal cause they just put on the tape and a machine cuts the animal’.

Anyways i was always sorta confused, then i found this ayah:

5:5 They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food). Say: lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: and what ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah. eat what they catch for you, but pronounce the name of Allah over it: and fear Allah. for Allah is swift in taking account.

5:6 This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good).
