Halal Restaurants London

Hi,

I am working in London all next week in the Oxford Street area, need some restaurants to eat at, don’t mind catching the tube but want something different as coming from Nottingham the only halal choice we have is Indian or the usual fried chicken places.

So can you recommend anything? Looking for things like posh burger places, Lebanese, etc.

Need 4 different places to last me all week and need to be places where I don’t look out of place eating alone!

Any ideas?

Re: Halal Restaurants London

There's a halal restaurant near (on the side of) Debenhams on Oxford Street that's Morroccan or Lebanese, haven't eaten there myself though :/

Re: Halal Restaurants London

Why not just go to the end to Marble Arch and go to Edgeware Road otherwise, there's loaddddddddds of halal restaurants there, mainly Morroccan, Lebanese and Arab. There's even a restaurant called 'Halal' :D

Re: Halal Restaurants London

TAYYAB every thing is awesome but chicken BABY MASALA :k: :k::k::k::k:
just 6/7 stations from oxford street tube

Re: Halal Restaurants London

Tayyabs is all the way in Whitechapel!! Bit far innit?

Re: Halal Restaurants London

yeeeeeeeee i love in

Re: Halal Restaurants London

zayna restaurant .. jus behind marble arch .. think tha wud b closer

Re: Halal Restaurants London

Sorry just looked at the Hotel and its closer to Russell Square tube.

Tayyab's looks good but it's still Pakistani food. i just thought there might be some different halal options in London.

Has anyone been to TinselTown? For burgers?

Zayna looks nice but a bit posh for me to go on my own, I might look a bit odd!

Re: Halal Restaurants London

Ranoush Juice on Edgeware Road for shawarma!

Also Tayyabs and Needoo Grill but they are a bit far.

Re: Halal Restaurants London

Edgeware road for everything middle eastern some awsome food.

Tinsel town is fun too! but not somehwere to dine alone in.

Re: Halal Restaurants London

Is that an offer to join me?

You are a girl right? ;)

Ok, I'll take a trip to Edgware road. I am staying close to Russell Square but if iwalk up to Euston Square and get the circle line to Edgware Road station I can go to Ranoush Juice. If I catch the Hammersmith line the other way and get off at Whitechapel I can go to Tayyabs.

Need 2 more ideas! Any proper wood fire pizzas near me? Doesn't need to be halal as I can go Veggie!!

Any other burger joints similar to Tinseltown but where I can go alone?

Re: Halal Restaurants London

You HAVE to go to Sadafs Restaurant in Bayswater.. its a Persian place and the food is out of this world! Atmosphere is great too.

And its pretty central so will be perfect for you - they serve everything with rice and salad, and deffo ask for the yoghurt... it's sublime.

Damn. Making me want to go now :(
