Re: Halal Holidays

Now number 1 question is if having holidays and spending huge amount of money for vacationing is halal to begin with

Re: Halal Holidays

It will give choice and convenience to people/families who will go to holiday anyway.

Re: Halal Holidays

If one is using halal key kama-e and if one can afford to do so , then why would it not be halal.

Re: Halal Holidays

Well...Ilm haasil krne ko bhi tou kaha hai....even if you have to go to China for it.So,this could be considered an educational holiday :D

Re: Halal Holidays

great find DC … :naraz:

Re: Halal Holidays

I was thinking from splurging pov, which probably is not acceptable

BTW, do you know this hadees is a fabricated hadees :D

Re: Halal Holidays

interesting point TLK bhai ..but spending time with family away from home, what could be non-halal in it if done with modesty and moderation?

Re: Halal Holidays

nothing non-halal if moderation is there :D

Re: Halal Holidays

So does that mean I can do Vegas in a halal way?

Re: Halal Holidays

Who is this vegas that you are planing to do?

Re: Halal Holidays

:frowning:

Re: Halal Holidays

Hai koi, very corrupted soul.

Re: Halal Holidays

interestingly I havent seen any proper halal non-alcoholic hotels here in the UK. What is it like in the US? and if anybody knows of any such hotels in the UK?

Re: Halal Holidays

OK, my lame jokes aside, I was just being devils advocate about splurging. I personally believe that if God has given you ability and opportunity to earn halal money and you have taken care of your obligations then its is perfectly ok to go and reward yourself and your family, be it cars or houses or expensive vacations.

Firenze, not even Saudi Arabia can make that claim that everything is halal, let alone Turkey which is already struggling to be part of European Union and trying to prove that the country is more Gora than muslim.

Re: Halal Holidays

Ahh :grumpy: a day of finding out all fabricated stuff.
Though I always heard this one when I was young.I guess I’ll have to ask about it.:hmmm:

Re: Halal Holidays

yes this is the most ‘beleived’ fabricated hadees. Confirm it though through proper sources.

Re: Halal Holidays

I agree with that.I don’t understand why most ppl think everything in Saudia is halaal:grumpy:

Re: Halal Holidays

I had tried to use it as my ‘ticket’ to go abroad for higher studies.:hehe:

Re: Halal Holidays

This is just a trust that average Muslims put on that nation. It is sad that SA does not do anything about haraam beef sold in front of Haram Shareef, but they are ready to chop the head off of an old woman who is suspected of sorcery.
