If some people want to be cautious then so be it. It is a personal choice.

I have seen some people ask pizza to be sliced by a 'clean' knife which was not used to slice pepperoni pizza. Their choice to be 'safe'.

Strict vegetarian are also very cautious and try to avoid meat or animal products.

I guess the essence to be taken here is that everyone should be free to choose what to eat or drink. If for ANY reason someone wants to be strict, then this should not be seen in negative way or be ridiculed.

Now those who tell others as information that there may be a problem in some food items for any reason, does not mean they are forcing anyone.

Everyone is responsible for his or her action. :)

There is no such thing as haraam chicken. Chicken's halal, so you can't call is haram. However, there is zabiha or non-zabiha.

Why do we have to make religion so complex? Alcohol consumption is forbidden for a reason and I don't think you can get intoxicated by a cookie.

Reminds me of a guy with a beer can in one hand and a girl friend in another, looking for a halal Pakistani restaurant.

when i eating Chocolate Chip Cookie, my sister just read the back of the box for ingredients. it contains natural vanilla extract :bummer:. vanilla is usually put for flavour, other it has nothing to do with the actual making of the cookies (why do they put it…arghhh…i know i know otherwise it would spell like egg)

I googled it the following site and it says vanilla extract is haram: Login - Radarr

but it also says

i know cookies in general really bad for the health, but i dont eat like two or three in a week.

I think i have no choice left then to throw it away, cuz by the time i will find scholar they will be moist and all.
