Are you trying to give me a heart attack?? 55?!?!?!
Sheyn - in all seriousness, i don’t really read into this too much. If the aforementioned products i’m consuming contains no obvious animal derivitives, then it’s fine. Just eat it.

Lately I’ve come to know about so many products that aren’t halal… for example, the famous Goldfish crackers. I love them, my kids love them. This one lady who seems to be the expert in halalism here locally told me the cheese in them isn’t halal. Then I find out that Pizza Hut’s pizza ain’t halal because the sauce they use contains an animal ingredient . Thennnn, Altoids, the yummy mints, some yogurts, some cheeses like Kraft, are all haram
sigh
SO the best thing to do is to call the 1-800 number on the product and ask if there are animal animal ingredients.
This is what is questionable:

Gina …i miss dubai …never cooked a day in my life in dubai, could order out , eat out and not give it a second thought !:hinna:
However the thing is a lot of the same products are being sold in dubai and the people are not aware of it cause they assume it is an Islamic country so automatically things are halal. It is not so !
Even bathcare and creams etc that are widely used are in fact not halal. Simple everyday accessories like soaps , lotions , toothpaste contain lard that is from pigs. I’ve read brands like Colgate , Procter & Gample products , Camay etc contain lard .
