Good. So now the specific case in discussion is that either we slaughter a stunned animal (because of the law of the land), or eat non-halal meat (or no meat at all). Pretty easy to chose, no?
Same way Ulema improvised the hunting ruling because now we use guns and not bow and arrows (as sahaba did), slaughter ruling can be improvised too.
