Interesting, according to the writer Nawaz Sharif knows that they will have to fight the war in the end hence he is delaying it as much as he can as it would be fought in Punjab.

گر مذاکرات ناکام ہوتے ہیں تو ایک پردہ جس میں ابھی تک یہ امید چھپی ہے کہ شاید اسی طرح ملک میں امن قائم ہو سکے وہ امید یا فریب بھی دم توڑ دے گا.
پھر اصل جنگ شروع ہو گی, ایک ایسی جنگ جو پاکستان میں بھی ابھی تک نہیں دیکھی گئی. نواز شریف کی حکومت کی ابھی تک یہی سوچ ہے کہ اگر وہ اس جنگ کو روک نہیں سکتے تو کم از کم جتنا ٹال سکتے ہیں ٹال لیں.
اور ان کی یہ سوچ اس حد تک ضرور سمجھ میں آتی ہے کہ یہ جنگ جب بھی شروع ہوئی, اس کا سب سے بڑا میدان قبائلی علاقے یا خیبر پختونخوا نہیں بلکہ پنجاب ہو گا
