Hajj while being pregnant

As salam alekum.
We are thinking of umrah this year inshallah in May . But since we haven’t performed hajj and it’s a farz we r leaning more towards hajj Inshallah

my question is . Is it ok to perform hajj hike pregnant 5-6 months? Should I do it? Or rather go for umrah beacuse hajj demands more physical activity ,
I m really confused as what to do.
would love to hear if u performed hajj whle being pregnant , or any advice is welcome

Re: Hajj while being pregnant

I am no woman, but I have done Hajj. It would not be impossible but it would be tough. First of all, traveling between makka and madina would be tough. Then muzdalifa night might be tough. Other than that, hajj and umrah are not much different physical activities wise.

It's more on you that how you handle your second trimester. If this would be your first baby, and you have no prior pregnancy experience then I would say rethink your strategy. If I were you then I would save the money and go for hajj next year

Re: Hajj while being pregnant

Hajj is no doubt a fard is you can afford and in good health. umra can be done anytime before or after Hajj. u may go just for umra...is better than nothing if you think you can perform Hajj without putting yourself or the unborn child at any risk. you may wanna see a doctor and get his opinion. if you do umra before Hajj, it's an OK and will give you some practice to bear the weather.

Allah aapkaa Umra qubool farmaaye. aameen
