Hi,
I’m in the US and plan to go for Hajj InshaAllah with my mother and wife this season through Pakistan.
I’ve heard lots of stories and rumours but not solid facts and am hoping to start this thread which would address that.
Can we get a list of travel agencies or tour operators from Karachi which provide Hajj services and with their approximate costs and inclusions/exclusions. I have seen lots of ads on the jang newspaper but obviously don’t know which one is better than the other. If we share our experiences and review these packages, I think it will be a very good starting point InshaAllah for people.
I will start with the one name I’ve heard here but don’t know much about their details.
Al-Khair: Heard from atleast 3-4 people that they provide Hajj packages with excellent service and cost around Rs.140,000. This group is the same that Junaid Jamshed always goes with, hence their popularity, but I’ve heard that they are really good. My mother tried contacting them in Karachi and they said they are already full ??? even though the Hajj policy came out just two days ago. They are located in Clifton and the owner name is Ahmed Zeeshan.
This is my info so far, if you all can please add to it and provide your experiences, it would be very beneficial. Also, if someone knows for a fact that Al-khair is full or not, please let me know.
I’m also posting this in the religion forum, as I don’t know which forum is more appropriate.
Thanks in advance
Jazak-Allah Khair

Re: Hajj Packages roundup - plz help.
My father, my sister and her husband and couple of other relatives went to Hajj through Global travellers International... There office is in faisalabad... (message me if u need the contact info). I have not found single complaint about them... rather i wish i can go with them next yr.. they r a little expensive.. there service is second to none... When my father went on the Hajj they got this thunderstorm in Minna and there service provided blankats on emergancy basis to all the Hajis with them. and the biggest plus is that they have some good ppl who will tell u the correct way of doing things...
They r little expensive though.. like charging 170k per person.
But they have got places pretty near to the Haram.
Re: Hajj Packages roundup - plz help.
Thanks very very much for your reply, its really surprising that no one else has shared their experience.
I will be going from Karachi so I am currently looking for recommendations/advice on Karachi based companies only. However, I'm sure your recommendation will surely benefit someone who is planning to go from Faisalabad.
I just hope that other people also share their experiences .....
Re: Hajj Packages roundup - plz help.
My inlaw are going also this year. I think through a government sceme.
Cost = 135.000 Rs, not that money really matters.
Re: Hajj Packages roundup - plz help.
No, my family went from Lahore... and they had some karachi ppl in that group too... Their final flight to Jeddah was from Isb... I m not sure from where they will be taking everybody this time... but they do have multi - town arrangements in place.. Anyway i can't force u ... but there r very few things i recommend, but i can surely recommend with confidence on their service.
Re: Hajj Packages roundup - plz help.
I have a friend who goes with Al-khair almost every year. They used to be really good, thats why last year a lot of people signed up with them. Since they took a lot more Hajjis last year than they usually do, some people complained that the service had been degraded as every1 had expectations. Anyway, they are still good enuff, but the problem is that they get booked really quick.
Other option is Alamgir trust in Bahadurrabad, Karachi. I heard they are OK. I went with govt regular scheme couple of years ago, we had good accomodations in both Makkah and Madinah, close to the mosques. Only problem was that our tent was very far from Jamaraat (Satans), almost in Muzdalfah. So everyday, we had to walk (or take bus) for 2 or 3 kms.
When you choose a Hajj package, always ask them what is their tent # in Mina. If tent # is close to 1, it will be near to Jamraat. eg., tent # 6 and 9 are very close to Jamraat. Out tent was 52, thats why it was far.
