Thanks everyone.

It was a good trip. I went from London to Bahrain to Jeddah to Mecca to Madina, then back to Jeddah to Bahrain to Abu Dhabi to Muscat and then finally Karachi for one week … then back to London and now finally home. I kept calling it “The Amazing Hajj”. So much stuff happened, I witnessed too much I wasn’t expecting. If anything, it brought my family super close together. It was a much needed bonding experience. All five of us went plus my nani ammi.

I have so much to share, but it will be sooo long … some of you might find it boring. I need to type it all out before I forget the details. I don’t know what was covered in the news here … doesn’t seem like much was. My bro and father nearly died in the flooding and stampede caused by the flooding. They were in Mina and it was the last day of stoning. Honestly, it was the worst day of my life. I’ll have to explain it more in detail later.

The Haram was flooded in Mecca … some parts of the masjid had about a foot of water. Funny thing is, all the arabs started dancing in the street saying “alhumdullilah” cause it never rains in Saudi and the fact that it rained on the last day of Hajj meant (according to them) that everybody’s Hajj was accepted. Don’t know how true that was but it was an extremely difficult day for my family.

Anyway, I have a lot of stories to share. I’ll have to type something up … I’m too jet lagged right now.
