Re: Hajj costs

Also, another difficult part I heard was communications problem - they are all Arabic speaking personnel and it's extremely difficult to even ask for help if one gets lost in the crowd.

Really, coz I didnt find it so. Almost everywhere you can find someone speaks Urdu!

But the actual hajj process, how long is that.
Sorry I sound so foolish and ignorant
[/QUOTE]
No, you dont! The only foolish question is the unasked one!
The actual Hajj consists:
8th of Dhul Hijjah: Day of Tarwiyah. This day is option
9th of Dhul Hijjah: Day of Arafat
10th of Dhul Hijjah: Day of Nahr
11th and 12th of Dhul Hijjah: Days of Tashreeq
13th of Dhul Hijjah: optional day of Tashreeq
People usually go a few days at least earlier, to get settled in, do Umrah, pray at the Haram etc. And then spend a few more days in Makkah after Hajj and then off to Madinah for a bit. But if someone cant manage to stay that long, its ok. You can easily find a package to suit your needs. I have seen really short packages to accomodate for people who cant take much time off to go. Or alternatively if your group only has longer packages, you can try to make arrangements with them to come back earlier as well
