In the picture of the Indonesian muslims, why are they all wearing some sort of pink identification? Isn't one of the keystones of hajj that everyone is equal, exactly the same, race, creed, nationality, social status, wealth, all that is left at the door, then why the distinction?

it is turned over to keep it clean during peak season of Hajj.
Actually i got to know the term myself when I happened to be there for Hajj last year.I myself used to think previously that the Ghilaf is pulled up to keep it clean but when I inquired about it from other Hajis they all told me that this is Ahram! Since I have seen it closely during Tawaf , the texture of the white and black material appears to be totally different from each other and if you have a closer look it seems that it is wrapped around Ka'ba rather being pulled up.WAllaho Alam.

some of the groups (say a grp of 50-75 ppl) from different countries specially indonesia ,malasia and turkey wear a same choosen colored scarf over their outfits and during Hajj days over their ahrams so that the group remain intact and if any of the memeber is lost ,they can be easily recognized among that rush of hundreds of thousands of Hajis.
