and for an oval/round face. not too short, has to be below shoulders…
you cant tell unless you feel my hair, its thin on top, near crown etc so salons always have an issue with giving me side fringe, as they say i have less hair there…i really want a thick side fringe..:

the only thing that I can think of is to layer the hair extensively near the crown so that hair has lift and bounce in that area and doesn't get weighed down......

If the stylist says no to the fringe then don't do it.
Otherwise what Muzna said is best. Make sure your hair is layered and even some pieces underneath towards the crown area to provide bounce.
Why don't you go short? Start over?

My hair is fairly thin and I have had pretty much all kinds of bangs (side-swept, wispy, asymmetric, straight across as well as blunt). I think you'll be okay as long as the fringe isn't too heavy or weighty.
