Hairstyles - not the bride
Hi everyone...I don't post much , but i do read a lot here. One of my husband's sisters is getting married and I want to get something done with my hair...maybe a hair cut and color it. I have never dyed my hair before and i wouldn't know what color would suit me...any suggestions? My skin tone is on the lighter side. Would appreciate any feedback thanks. :)

oooh that sounds nice...how bout with highlights? yeah im a bit on the pasty side :( I also want to straighten my hair out. i never really got a chance to dress up for my own wedding, so im excited about getting dressed up for this wedding.

Highlights are always nice... in that case maybe get a coffee brown base with caramel-mocha highlights... but they are so so so hard to manage!

really , how so? I've never gotten any color in my hair...does the color fade soon? does it ruin the quailty of your hair?...my husband suggested a chocolate brown for my hair...I think that would be a little on the dark side and make me look more pasty.

whatever you chose, just stay away from blondes...they look aweful on desis...

Yeah they make your hall fall out... but it may vary from person to person. another thing, you constantly have to get them redone... you know, when your roots start coming in otherwise it wont look too nice... Chocolate brown sounds nice... but like you said, you're light.. it may not work... I myself am light so I could never really picture that working with our skin.... hmmm... go for the caramel color if not highlights or try a shimmery honey gold color

how do i upload a picture? I cant seem to remember...i wanted you guys to see what i look like so you can get a better idea...i wanted to straigten my hair as well and cut it right below my jaw line.

on the right side of the page there's a quickie bar... go to the very last category marked features and under it you'll find image upload.. click on that and you're all set to go.
