Hairdressers in London!

I know this sounds like a really obvious question to answer but, before you guys do please hear me out.

I have straight, long (about my hips), thick THICK jet black hair with a lot of volume, and I mean a lot like the hair you get on Barbie dolls. I’m 28 years old and have only had one good hair cut!

So please if any of you know of a good hairdressers (you actually have experience off) let me know, their name or salon.

Thanks in advance for your considerations!

Sabrina

Hey thanks for your PM, I am not able to send you one back yet!

I read all the reviews and I think I will go there! ...can i ask you what's your hair like? I'm only asking so i can gauge what kind of hair the Lebanese hairdresser is good with! I once had my hair done by a Korean lady (in a Japanese salon) and she was great!

Thank you SO much 'stoppit'! oh would you mind telling me the owners name, so i can ask for him by name? (please PM me if you prefer!)

Re: Hairdressers in London!

search for "Jens Mobile Hairdressing" on fb

No problemo.

My hair is not quite mid back (bra strap length) and fine, so I need to create volume.

He's been a hairdresser for a looooong time and when he was talking to me about permanent straightening techniques, it seems he has a lot of clients with thick and/or curly hair so I think you will be in good hands.

Just tell him your worries (as I did) and that you just want to chat about what exactly you want and anything you've had done in the past that you didn't like.

I think you would be fine with the Japanese lady too. A lot of oriental women have thick hair so I'm sure she knows how to handle it.

My colleague hates getting his hair cut so only gets it done like twice a year. It was shoulder length a few weeks ago and he kept saying he needs a cut but wasn't doing anything about it. I suggested he go there and even I was surprised with the outcome. Usually short hair looks really bad on him but Mr. Lebanese guy did a super job; looks so much better than his longer hair.

I will pm you his name.

Hey Colourful eyes,

I'm in the westend but I don't mind going anywhere (in London) for a decent hair cut! This lady doesn't have any portfolio, can you tell me anything else about her?

The thing I always have to deal from hair dressers is them (firstly) not believing when i tell them that my hair is really think and dense and (secondly) them not knowing how to cut it properly! I have think Pakistani hair (thank you, Dad!) and the hair dressers cut it like its wispy blonde hair (nothing against wispy blonde hair thought!)

I get so stressed out by them! Just thinking about having to deal with brings me out in hives!

ooohhh...please PM me the details too! I'm always on the lookout for good hairdressers :)

Thanks so much :)

Stoppit....please msg me the details as well...I havent had a good haircut ever since I've moved here...
