I have heard a couple of people say that excessive hair on the body (in general) represents increased sexual activity once you become active.
Is it a gross-generalization or is there some truth to it as well?

There is no correlation between hair and libido.
I have heard it too. Cant be giving arguments in its support cuz in Sexology, I am a layman...Let Gamma come and he wud fix u khanzaday:D
^ :D
Well Testosterone is the culprit for all the changes that happen to males and most of it happens during puberty. Testostrone along with supporting muscle mass , and increasing libido promotes the growth of the reproductive parts, increases in the length and diameter of the penis, development of the prostate and scrotum, and the sprouting of pubic and facial hair.
As far as how much it affects a person depends on the genetics. Your genes govern how your receptors handle the messenger hormone (Testostrone) . Some people that are active sexually with bodies flushing with testostrone may not have hair at all whereas others with even the minute amount of testostrone may start sprouting hair everywhere like a little monkey. Same goes for muscle mass and penis size. My body handles testostrone like a bull if i may say so.
hope this answers your question.
I'm confused...So if I increase my testosterone level I will turn in to a gorilla or not?
all in the genes

I am not saying to shave. I wouldn't prefer my woman to shave. I don't want to start feeling on her arms and feel thick hair. I suggest waxing on arms and legs or get a laser surgery to permanently remove any hair and don't have to worry about waxing. I just find it gross to see women who have hairy arms and legs. Try waxing. Much more smoother and hair doesn't regrow thicker than before.
4 words hun: waxin hurts like hell!!!
laser surgery mite b good (ive thot of gettin it sumtimes) but its supposed 2 b REALLY bad 4 ur skin

Won't hurt so much if you stand in water for a while, get your skind softened up and then try to wax.
.
It is all cultural and personal prefrences.
