Hair straightner query?

hi,

My ghd finally gave up, now need to buy a new one but i am confused as to which one i should go for? HELP!

It does not necessarily have to be GHD could be another brand..

any suggestions appreciated.

Don't like hair straighteners but my sis uses one from Panasonic which is great. Also I got a hair curler by Panasonic 3 years ago which gave the most beautiful curls. Don't remember the model but it was golden & black in color around 70$ range. They had few different models. Not sure about their performance.
