Re: Hair Straighterner
you do have to go over the samepart of hair about 2-3times, use a good thermo hair protection...one made especialy to straighten hair. ((loreal Hot straight)) thermo because i will work well with the heat a good shampoo and conditioner helps ALOT, them also made to help straighten hair, ((john frieda frizz ease it realllyy good)). parting your hair seems like a waste of time but makes a difference.
all this keeps your hair saright for longer
oh yeah............hair sets cold not hot, so when u do ur hair, straight or curly, use that cold shot thing on the hairdryer and your hair should stay tht way :)
There are so many other nice brands like chi and sedu. Why don't you try one of these?
Re: Hair Straighterner
Maybe youre hair is super thick and ffrizzy...kind like mine and in that case
you might have to go through putting in an anti-frizz creme and starightining balm...as well as starightining the hair in layers

I agree. Seems like you need something that has a higher heat setting but is still safe for your hair. Sedu and Chi are good suggestions. Look into Paul Mitchell as well.
U're hair shud be really dry when u straighten it.. use a frizz serum.
Re: Hair Straighterner
Hair goes frizzy because the cuticles are dry and split ususally due to use of heated appliances like hair dryers and straightners.
For every type of hair it needs to be prepped properly for using any heated appliance
Make sure you condition it properly after shampoo, and invest in a heat protectant thats specially designed to form a seal on your hair so when you use a straightner it doesnt damage your cuticle.
After using the straightner, apply a leave in condtioner to your ends by first squeezing it into the palm of your hand, rubbing your palms together to create some heat and then running them through your ends.

Thank you all.
Re: Hair Straighterner
Chi it baby --
and you get this anti frizz serum with it --
works wonders.
The only downfall I find to that is that afterward if I want to wave or blow dry my hair its still pretty much straight and no body
Re: Hair Straighterner
ok one advice...if u use hair straitner...always keep it away from ur roots...
FIRST OF ALL AVOID THEM!!!
if u cant...keep them away frm the roots...
ive used it for a few years and now have lost half of the hair on my head...

Re: Hair Straighterner
No styling method will work on your hair until you properly shampoo and condition your hair so use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.
