hair straightening at home.

Does anyone know of any hair straightening kits for use at home? Boots used to sell one but have stopped making it now. It gave good results.
Any other ones that are available in pharmacies/stores?
How was your experience with a home kit? Which one did you use?

Re: hair straightening at home.

hair straightening kits? HOW can u make it work? How's the result like? Do u flat iron your own hair during the process? Does your hair came out pin straight with the kit or just a bit relaxed?

I went to a salon in Scarborough called "Salon on Brimley" and they are very famous in doing Japanese Hair Straightening in Toronto but I remembered when they did my hair, they need to flat iron my hair. It was excellent job by the way. My question is, how can u get good result when you do it yourself at home? How much will a set cost?

Re: hair straightening at home.

I've had one from boots and the results were FANTASTIC. however i flopped i didnt straighten my hair in the process. So my result was LOOSE WAVE rather than straight. Which i was very pleased about considering i have naturally tight curly hair.

Re: hair straightening at home.

The boots kit gave very good results. Shame they aren't selling it any more, which is why I asked if someone knew of any other good home hair straightening system available in UK/ROI.

i use philips salon multistylist 8 in 1..it gets my job done!

hate rebonding...it makes your hair looking thin and unnatural..
