Sorry, not all of us can (or want to) spend $100 on a straightener .. so what are some good (i.e. cheap) drugstore brands? I left mine in Pak coz after burning out 3 adaptars i dont think it wuda been gud idea to plug it into our outlets here
try buying the conair hair starighteners. I am using mine for almost 2 years now and it works fine and its cheap too. It dosen’t cost an arm and a leg. i think i bought it for $50. The only thing i am not sure if they would have conair where ever u live. If they don’t have con air than try Revlon brand that’s also good.
ive tried conair.. it was alright I guess, but i want a bit of quality, but not spend $100s I know drugstore brands like Vidal Sassoon, revlon and conair.. r there any better ones (within budget) ?
umm u should try looking up for Farouk Chi straightner on E-bay.. i ordered frm there twice..Chi straightner..and the payment was around $80 with shipping!
I bought a Conair hair straightener like last year and it sucked.
Keep in mind, it might be worth spending those extra 15 dollars to buy a better one. My friend has one from a company called (i think) "Hot Tools" and that's the best one I've used yet.
i actually know a girl who uses clothes iron...it works for her.
Ya a friend of mine uses cloth iron sometimes and it works like a miracle...jokes apart...it really works......though never used myself....i have damnnnnnnnnnn staright hairs...:)
I have a Conair Ceramic straightener and I've had it for almost 3 years. I use it daily and have never had a problem with it. I live in Houston where humidity is awful and most days my hair turns out good. Of course, there are days when the humidity level is like 80% or above and in those days, nothing works. :(
If I remember correctly, I paid like around $22 for mine.
it depends the look u want, full n voluminous or pin strait.. i usually go for blowdryer n then straighten a few front strands that always seem to curl up
i used to have a muster but i left that with my sister after i got married so hubster got my a ghd, the salon style straightener with wide plates.. it cost quite a bit but it gives such a beautiful finish... and it takes me onl 15-20 minutes to get the look i want.. i can either have pin straight hair, or put lil flicks on the end... or curl my fringe... am totally in love with it..
but girls who have straight hair... they needn't bother... u guys can get away with even remington straighteners... these expensive ones are more for people who have natural curls or fuzzy hair.. me thinks
i bought one off my cousin...she took this beauty/hair style course in high school and her teacher was sellng them for 50 bucks...there's nto brand name on the box, but its a good ceramic straightner for my kinky hair....
MY ghd'S just bust and I needed some urgently before I went on my hols, and ordering off the net takes ages but it's a cheaper option. I just bought a pair a vidal sasoon creme ceramic straighteners for £25, they work perfectly.....that would be around $17, and maybe even cheaper on the net........
i have a ceramic straightener by conair. got it for $30-$40 bucks...not sure if 30 or 40..but im pretty satisfied with it. im using a low setting since my hair is straight anyways. but they have higher settings for curlier/wavier hair. i think its a good deal. conair makes another straightener that comes with different plates...(crimper,wave plate etc..) and other cheaper straightners...but dont get them..they stink. u can come over to my place on sunday and try it out..lolz
