I have researched long term hair straightening methods but they all use harsh chemicals and I finally have some decent hair left. So I don’t think I’m ready for those treatments yet.
Can someone recommend a straightener they have used or are using which does the following:
Does NOT fry my hair
Straightens quickly
Leaves my hair silky smooth (if that is even possible)
i have remington's hair straightener n i apply a serum before using it....
its been 1.5years that m using it....
n before my marriage i was using the same brand for three years...no issues
I love my GHD straighteners, but I've heard of a straightener called Cloud 9 (created by the founders of the ghd hair straightener) which uses a lower heat to straighten your hair and also leaves a nice glossy finish, and has less damage to your hair. I'd give that a try maybe.
Also, use a heat protection spray as well, I tend to use either John Frieda hair sprays/serums or Charles Worthington.
GHD. Nothing else will ever compare to GHD. It does what it says, good hair days, every single day (unless it's raining and you dont have a brolly, otherwise you're Diana Ross on a good night!).
Uh oh. Something me and Milly don’t agree on. I really don’t like GHDs. I had never heard of cloud 9 before Maddy’s post but in searching, I came across this review which is pretty much my opinion on GHDs… having used them a number of times and even buying them and then returning them.
It’s cos we have different hair needs. It’s ok that im right about this, you can be left, im usually always left, you should take this one for the relationship
Sedu. I've used it for years. I have super thick and super curly hair.. and it works so well on my hair. My sister tried GHD because of good reviews.. she tells me everyday how badly she wants to buy sedu. Nothing compares with the sleek look it gives.
my sis has thick hair MashAllah and chi works beautifully on her.. me .. I have pretty straight/fine hair to begin with but it just doesn't get the job done :(
