I’m looking for some GOOD hair salons in New york city… i wanna get my hair highlighted and colored, and i need someone who understands english, doesn’t have a thick spiccy/chinky accent but doesnt’ charge $50 for a freakin haircut either (coz apparently someone who speaks perfect english can charge 50 for a haircut :rolleyes: ) I know of Nina’s on Coney Island, my friend got it done, it looked nice and she didnt’ charge so much but apparently her attitude is really shiitty.So… any suggestions, you know, besides being so racist or picky?

Try department store salons such as JCPenny perhaps? I have had good customer service from them in another state and city, and I assume they would have the same standards everywhere?

Have u ever gotten ur zulfein colored and been happy with the result?

Do they speak proper english or aren't fobs and won't laugh at my poor attempt at urdu/punjabi.

My sisters tried to bleach the hair at my front head when I was in pakistan but I refused :snooty: they thought I will look gorgeous :expressionless: I asked: dun I look now:hoonh: .. not to mention reply was not satisfactory :grumpy:

I’ve seen their ads on tv, I dunno. i like the kala kala too, but sometimes u need a change :blush:

Look at www.ny.citysearch.com

They have a 'rating' system for these salons and sometimes customers will also write comments for their opinion or experience there.

Allure looks like a good salon and plus its not too far from my school… seems a bit pricey so i dunnO :bummer:

i've also been trying to get a nice long layered cut and i found really good ratings for a salon called faberge and one called space......i'll let u know soon as i have an experience there...
