Hair routine

The ladies who don’t have straight hair. What do you do to make your hair decent apart from using straightners or curling tongs?

Re: Hair routine

towel dry?

Re: Hair routine

I don't have straight hair, it's a bit wavy. I put some serum in it, half my hair, twist each half and then blow dry the twisted hair. I keep it twisted as long as possible, and when i open the twists i have a really nice smooth curl to my hair. takes about 5 minutes of blow drying.

Have a look at some of DavenMayeda’s tutorials, it might help : Daven Hairstylist/Makeup Artist/Beauty Blogger - YouTube

Re: Hair routine

LOL that doesn't really answer my question. KS09's answer is what I was looking for. Thanks though! :)

Re: Hair routine

When my hair is still damp (so about 10 mins after showering), I use a curl activating mousse and comb it through with my fingers, then scrunch and hold sections and then leave it to air dry while I do my makeup. I might need to give it a quick blast with the hairdryer after I'm done with my makeup. Gives me wavy beach hair. In the summer, I might spirtz in some sea salt spray for added effect.

I've been doing this for a while now. When I was younger, I used to straighten everyday. Now it's nice to straighten on occasion and then look different from usual.

Re: Hair routine

I do a wet wrap often, which makes my hair straight and manageable.
Sometimes I do braids with wet hair so it dries to give the crinkled look.
I also do pin curls, rollers, scrunching, make a bun with a sock, high ponytail, different types of braids, etc
