Hair rollers

I’m looking into using hair rollers to curl or wave my hair. Any idea where I should look to buy them first of all? Also which kind would you recommend? There are so many and I’ve heard that one type is more suited towards one type of hair. Any idea?

Re: Hair rollers

Oh what a coincedencr, cause I just bought hot rollers. Well I went to walmart since I was on a budget and the best one I found was the remington one. It was $34.99 . At first I didnt like them but theres a catch to it, dont ever use them on straightened hair or after using any sort of Iron cuz the curls barely form. The warmer the rollera are and the longer u keep them in ur hair the curlier the hair forms. Another good thing about these rollers is that they come with its clips for each roller to keep them in place and the texture ia velvet ao very gentle on hair and theyre pink! I love them now =D

Re: Hair rollers

Thanks! I need something with clips on it, because I don't think my hair can self-stick to the roller. But what about non-heated rollers that I can just leave in my hair and just go to sleep with them? I already put so much heat in my hair courtesy of my straightner that I wanted something that could take time to roll properly but not necessarily use heat.

Also, I think heated rollers come with like, 12 rollers, right? Was that enough for you, or would you recommend getting tons at first and then see how many you really end up using?

Re: Hair rollers

Actually the ones I bought are 20 rollers, 8 small sized and 12 normal sized. personally for me, rollers without heat are a no no cause my hair is really flat, but I guess you dont have to heat the rollers, u can just place them in ur hair without heating them. Btw the rollers are called remington pearls. Also I like that some of tgem are smaller sized because the bangs and front portion of my hair needed something smaller. Oh, and an advice, I recommend u get them from walmart because even if u use rthem for a month, you could still return them with open box =D

Re: Hair rollers

Wal-mart is a good idea. I should do that lol. I tried curling my hair with rags, and I loved how it looked but the curls that were made were too tiny and tight, so rollers it is.
