Hair Products - help ASAP

Can someone tell me some really really good, natural or with less chemicals high end hair products for cleansing and styling…I have tried out all the drug store ones but nothing really helped my hair…so I need to try high end ones expensive ones now. Or if you can also suggest some really good drug store ones then please mention.

Some that I have used and thought were ‘not-so-bad’:

  • Phyto
  • Frederic Fekkai (LOVE the root booster )
  • Bumble & Bumble
  • Kerastase
  • Klorane (currently using this one and finding it not too bad actually.)
    &
  • Rene Furterer

Re: Hair Products - help ASAP

My scalp is oily, sweaty and my hair gets oily every other day but at the same time my hair is very dry and needs conditioning. don't know what to do any suggestions?

Re: Hair Products - help ASAP

I agree with Afsoon, Phyto is a good brand.

You can also try Moroccan Oil (use it on damp hair after you take a shower...and use it before styling)

I also love Biosilk Silk Therapy - it makes your hair super soft and manageable

^ these are just styling products though. You should really be using a really good shampoo and conditioner to promote a healthy scalp -- Nioxin is really good for that

Teelobhain, have you looked into places that offer laser hair regrowth treatment......as in applying laser light to the scalp to stimulate hair growth. I haven't tried it, but I read about it. I don't know too much abou the process though. I think you need to see a doctor...someone who specializes in hair...who can do all the necessary tests to determine the problem...and who can suggest a variety of options that will be more effective in terms of promoting hair growth and maintaining overall hair health....compared to commerical products.
