hair on babies forehead

hi,
I need some advice regarding how to get rid of hair on a 6 month old baby girls forehead. My 3 year old little boy also has the same problem, everybody kept telling me that the hair would fall out but they are getting worse as he is getting older. When I was in Pak in May, family members were telling me to get his forehead waxed, but I didnt have the heart to do that.. as he has eczema and was scared incase it flared up with the waxing.

Is there something that you rub on the forehead so that the hair comes out naturally?

thanx in advance

I am not an expert but as far as I know this is baby hair which is vellous hair which will fall off as the kid gets older. If you interfere with it i.e. wax or thread it it will become terminal and permanent. I think you should not do anything till the kid grows older and wait for it to fall off naturally.

Oh god leave it, don't even touch it.

Re: hair on babies forehead

Rub a paste made of flour (aata) in milk gently and regularly. I did it for my son and my sister did it for her kids and it worked-plus they never came back.

I've heard of the remedy prototype's mentioned.. I don't think infants should be waxed/threaded..

Re: hair on babies forehead

Is this for real? Why anyone would suggest doing such a thing to a baby is disgusting! Don't touch the hair on the babys forehead IT WILL FALL OUT ITSELF!!! Just let nature do its job. Waxing is for ADULTS not children.

Not this topic again! :bummer:

That hair is called lanugo hair… it’ll fall out eventually… please do not try anything daft to remove it!
