I finally got the time to write down the oil my Dadi makes, I rcv’ed a lot of PM’s asking for it.
200 ml coconut oil
100 ml olive oil
100 ml almond oil
50 ml mustard oil
50 ml kalonji oil
50 ml corriander oil
25 ml amla oil
You mix all of the above oils and add to it 2 tablespoon of mustard seeds and heat the oil till it’s very hot. Strain it and put it in a bottle and use after a week.
You massage this into your roots, I have no clue why she asked to use it after a week :(
I've been using this oil for the longest time ever, and Alhamdulilah even after changing my hair color every week..sometimes within days of each other. Bleaching, back-combing, blow-drying.. my hair isn't damaged and pretty thick.

It might be so that the oils can steep in the seeds. Mustard seeds are "garam"....so maybe the seeds are supposed to lend their "garam effect" to the oil.

I've always bought it at places where we buy nuts, saffron and spices from. In Urdu it's called 'dhania ka tel'. Wash your hair after an hour, keep it longer it's upto you.
