hair help.....

i’m flying to karachi in a week or so and whenever i go my hair gets soooo frizzy and dry cos of the humidity and the water. if i straighten my hair it goes curly again within 5 mins, so i want to know what can i do this time to stop my hair goin all afro like.

i do have thick hair but it goes sooo dry no matter how long i leave the conditioner in my hair. i look at my cousins hair and their soo shiny and perfect and am sat there looking like one of the jackson five.

Re: hair help.....

lol, i don't know anything that would really work other than having one of those chemical straightening methods. personally i would embrace the curl! there are so many decent products that you can apply to wet hair that keep the curls shiny, soft and frizz free.. much better for your hair in the long run too.

Re: hair help.....

HEY i just came back from karachi and i faced the same problem my hair were awful though my skin was good i just kept my hair tied in a ponytail :(and stragihtened my hair for really important events cuz they wouldnt stay that way anyway...i think using a hair spray or gel would help keep ur hair in place yeah take a hair spray u will need loads of it

Use a conditioning hair-serum

hi funky_chicken;

tum aisa karo ke when u r in pakistan DON'T shampoo ur hair everyday. or if u do bathe everyday just rinse ur hair with water or just wear a shower cap to cover ur hair while u bathe. then itll stay silkier for longer

good luck!

Re: hair help.....

There are a lot of "anti frizz" or "smoothing" creams and serums out there like:

-John Frieda Frizz-Ease Serum
-Biosilk Silk Therapy
-Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum

Just check out your drugstore or salon for anti frizz type products

^ I'll second that. :) Good advice.

these days pakistan and specially karachi is facing big problem , like power outage problem, and water too, wheat too, so how can she will wash hair or blow dry, this time ur hair will good with alot of dust ,, lol

Re: hair help.....

Anti-frizz shampoo, conditioner and gloss/serum will work fine. Also, if you can invest in a hair straightener like Corioliss (it works in US/Pakistan both as it has a dual voltage system), that should really control your frizz problem.
