Hair Growth - Oils

Hello Hello!
I know there are a lot of threads on this topic and I have gone through a couple of them but I am confused.
So what happened was I came to Pakistan with long beautiful hair, but when I went for a trim here they chopped of 3-4 inches =( Now my hair is about shoulder length.
Now I want my long hair back.
I have never used oils except like olive oil or coconut oil once in a year.

Now people have told me that if I used sarson ka tail (which I believe is mustard oil) a couple of times in a week and yogurt, egg and any oil mixture once a week, my hair will grow 1-2 inches in a month, Hard for me to believe this.
Also the lady who chopped of my hair told me that if I mix a small amount of Castor oil in any oil that I use my hair growth will be a lot faster.

Now, I have gone through threads and there are so many recipes for hair growth its confusing me so I wanted to start a new thread where people can share experiences and recipes similar to mine.

P.S - I have thick, dry hair.

PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE help I need my hair to be long again in a short period of time.

Re: Hair Growth - Oils

i've tried castor oil mixed with olive oil (only twice), can't say i noticed a massive difference but i think if u apply a few times a month, it prolly will make a difference

(I read about it on a hair forum and alot of african women use it to grow their hair)
