Ladies, anyone here used bumpits? It gives volume to your hair without backcombing? I am interested but would like some opinions.

for those of us in California, we can buy at at Bed and Bath but before I purchase, I wanted to hear from those who used it. The last thing I want is my desi thick hair tangled in it and the only way to get it out is get a haircut :((
