Hair Extensions

Re: Hair Extensions

I had extensions, both real and acrylic , around three years ago. The first time I had acrylic extensions put purely to add volume as due to some health complications I lost a lot of hair and needed something to just help me feel more confident I guess.

The second time I had real hair extensions put in…again mainly to add volume but also a little extra length.

Both times the procedure took around 6 hours (acrylic extensions were woven into the existing hair while the real hair extensions are glued in). i loved loved loved the look of the extensions, because I had them done at a very reputable place they were done ‘properly’ and you couldn’t even tell I had any extensions even close up.

The only reason I stopped having further extension was due to the cost (at least£400 every 10 weeks ) and the maintenance they required. Also it takes a while to get used to the weight of the extra hair and you need to invest in a very soft pillow as it feels like you’re sleeping on a bag of peas at first:D

With the real hair extension you get to keep the hair even after the extensions have been removed and can have them re attached at any time. I’ve got a box of hair carefully packed away - I doubt I’ll ever have them reattached but every time I get the box out to throw it away I think of how much money it cost (typical paki :hehe:)
