Hair Extensions

That site is really really interesting. That bit about History of Hair was anyway. Apparently Indian hair is of a ‘very high quality’ and so is used for wigs and hair extensions. Though I am a little sceptical about the claims when the hair has been acidified and re-acidified to shape it into ‘100% European’.

Now, since all Indians are Pakistanis, the little tidbit about the superior quality of Indian hair reminded about the traditional grooming habits of women in my Pind. After combing their luscious locks, they pick all the hair out of their combs and stuff them into nooks in the wall or carefully place them under a rock. To throw away hair is ‘gunnah’. Whatever the reason – maybe some smart-alec cooked up the idea after choking on a deep fried hairy pakora or something – it sure works for them. And if you’re desperate, there is no harm in trying it out by stuffing hair into plasterboard cracks and other obscure places. There is obviously some unidentified wisdom in the method.

If all else fails, try this:
Dabur Amla Hair Oil

They even give you tips on how to put oil in your hair.

^ Forget anything else, that Dabur website has got some wicked games :D
