I’m seriously considering having some put in - I’m sick of my limp volumeless hair.
Has anyone here had them put in? How much do they cost? How often do I need to have them retouched? Will I have to use a special shampoo?

I’ve actually considered investing in a good wig and wearing it on nights out, but am worried about it slipping off while I’m busy flirting 
I’ve totally gone off blonde since I realised that every other Pakistani girl is now supporting my style

But I also want something more permanantish, something that will stick to my hair as though it were my own. Can’t find any helpful websites on the net tho
you can purchase really good wigs sadi .... they look real, feel real ... nobody will ever know it wasn't your real hair.

I dunno Mehnaz, I'd still rather wake up with a head full of thick hair than put on a wig every morning - aren't wigs meant to be for bald people?

Mehnz, that's the thing, I want it to be thicker all the time, not just the odd day. Wigs are definitely not for me.
Aisha, that would take too long and there's only so much thickness vitamin tablets could give my hair (as my hair is naturally really fine).
I was reading the link Sadia gave me .... they use authentic Indian hair, as it's meant to be the healthiest. Not sure if I like the idea of mixing someone elses hair with my own - what if she had nits :o
Mehnaz, you would look cool with a wig similar to the one worn by that woman in the movie 'Pulp Fiction'. It's jet black straight hair just under the shoulder length.

Anyway, back on topic, have you tried any volumizing products for your hair Sadi? Not mousse or hairspray .... that stuff is crap. I am talking more about shampoos/conditioners/syrums, etc.
I have mehnaz, and they do make a difference ... just not as much as I want them to!
I want really really really thick hair, and the only way I can get them as thick as I want them is by having extensions put in. I called the number given on Sadia's website and have booked myself in for a consultation this thursday :o The woman on the phone was as nice as pie, and told me they'd go though the cost once they've seen my actual hair. I'd need to get it touched up every 4 months or so, which is completely ok, as that's how often I cut it cut anyway.
i was looking on the net for a price guide … looks like it’s gonna end up costing me around 500 quid :o
