Going to my cousin’s shaadi in lahore and just got a hair cut and I HATE HATE HATE IT! :(…she cut all my long layers and stuff…I was wondering if someone knows of a GOOD AND PROFESSIONAL reliable place in lahore…I don’t know if they even do hair extensions…but I’m assuming some place has to have it…any suggestions ladies?
Also…do they sew them in or just do the clip on or wax…I would prefer sew cause I heard that damages less.
^ If worst comes to worst and u can't find anywhere that does them u could order clip-in extensions online, there are a few websites that will ship to** any** country in the world (with tracking).. Sorry that is just if you are really desperate and there is no other option..
I don't know if you're interested in a guys perspective, but hair extensions are awful. Theres nothing worse than running your hands through hair that came from India (seriously, look it up). Also it just doesn't look very good. I'm sure your haircut isn't that bad.
^ Not all hair comes from India, u can buy more more expensive European hair or cheaper synthetic and whilst some extensions do look rubbish (usually when they haven't been cared for properly they start to look 'ratty'), if they're good quality they can look amazing (why else do so many shampoo ads have models wearing hair extensions nowadays) :)
Its not that the hair comes from India that bothers me, I just find it creepy to be wearing somebody else's hair and pretending its like your own. As for the shampoo commercials, true, but as far as I know, a professional job such as those they get in those commercials would definitely cost a lot more than most people would be willing to pay. I don't know, I'm just not on that train.
Over here in London a set of extensions put in by a hairdresser can cost anywhere between about £180 to a couple of thousand, my hairdresser charges about £350 for synthetic (inc the hour it takes to take the last lot out) and I normally get them re-done every 3/4 months but have kept them in longer than that before with no problems or tangling. The girl who does mine works on the UK version of the '10 Years Younger' show so is quite well known. That figure I quoted is about what she charges the ppl on the show for a set of synthetic extensions so I'm guessing most hair companies won't be paying much more than that for the models in their ads either.. You do get the celebs like Victoria Beckham and Katie Price who will pay wayyyy more for a certain hairdresser but they're usually paying just for the name..
