hey everyone, i got my hair dyed yest at this salon. The girls there were B I A T C H E S…and were really unhelpful. Ive dyed my hair really lgiht before- like blondish, but this time around i was debating if i should dye my hair a bit darker. When i told her how i wanted it done..shes like okay…even tho i didnt think she understood me. My hair turned out really dark.. than expected. On top of that my roots are lighter then the rest of my hair - which she told me wud happen because i had left my roots grow in for too long.
It doesnt look horrible…but i guess im not used to darker hair. Considering its summer time - im thikning to get it toned lighter sometime this week— recommendations?? — i thnk im killing my hair…and spending a bit TOOOO MUCH. it cost me a lot yest. I was just haivng a super bad day and i didnt want to deal with n e thing. so i just let it go AGHHH
your hair is gonna have the consistancy of dry straw if u overdo it. Trust me....i've seen what happened to my nand's hair..she used to get it done every two weeks and she'd use a straightner every other day. It always looked so dry and stiff ..
I stay stick with your color for now...try changing it next month and get some deep conditioning treatment if you dye your hair often
IF u want it lighter but same color than they can use the tone ? on it and it wl make it better....get that done instead of going agian after a month or so and repeating the whole procedure and paying again.
yeah its true once dyed, always died ...the hair become so brittle and prone to breakage..its better to always avoid them...i wonder how people take risks about their hair..i love curly hair but i have straight hair and whenever i want to make them look curly i always revert back that no may be they wud turn bad ....also once i went to a hair dresser and she herself said to me ur hair is so good..dont ruin them by doing this...i dotn know to what extent she is true but still i avoid any type of experiment with my hair..
i agree with Gina, i love experimenting with my hair. hav highlighted thm quite a few times and quite often straighten thm. but at the same time, i use proper hair serums, conditioners, oils etc to take care of my hair.
protein treatment is a good solution for damaged hair problems along with deep conditioning once a week.
what kind of conditioners/oils and serums do u recommend
i have very dry corse hair, thick and curly lol
i use sunsilk usually the three step with leave-in conditioner. and after i put in baby oil in my hair.
:S i dunno i was told by my old hair dresser to do that. this hair dresser was a bit b i tchy...and unhelpful..
Its ok Baigette, dark hair is cool. You'll get used to it in a week or so. They probably sem terrible to u cos ur not used to having dark hair otherwise im sure they don't look bad. Just keep shampooing and that will wash out some excess too.
