I’ve been dying my hair at home for the past year now and as time has passed ive messed up
Naturally im a darkish brown, 1st application was bang on right then like an idiot i forgot which one i had used… so i opted for the Loreal 10 minute one which came out too light :o
Then I dyed it again which turned out black which looked realy bad
So i thought id use a stripper and strip the colour out…it didnt do anything special…i ended up with patched of blondish patched
I know applied a cour which make it look as if though i have mehndi on parts of the hair (the bits that were blondish) I hate the brown/red look but the colour has covered the dark hairs exactly..
I don’t know what to do … any help will be most appreciated
The blonde patches are because youve stripped it, thats what happens when u use a stripper. I did it once and my hair was blonde all round. What i did was i dyed it with dark color, i think mine was dark ash brown and my hair was back to normal.
What color have you dyed it after you stripped it?
oh and if you’ve dyed it a lighter color afterwards its just going to look wrong you really need to dye it a dark color again
^ hey sara yeah i done exactly that... i dyed the hair a medium brown colour which has caused that mehndi colour....
I think i should dye it a dark brown and then tone it down a little if its too dark... not sure what will happen. I never use permanent hair dye but it sticks around for ages

Yeh the hair color needs to be much darker, once u go back to dark then slowly lighten it. and buy a developer just to help the color work more . Dont do all of this process all at once though just darken it for now and after 2weeks or so dye it to whatever you want it will save your hair drying out.
