Hair Down + No Dupatta Setting for Reception

Sooo I didn’t know where to post this so I’ll put it here since it is Fashion & Beauty.

I’ve decided I’m not setting the dupatta on my head for the reception. I physically cannot deal with the stress on my head and enjoy myself - the annoyance will show all over my face.

I like the hairstyles below and with the help of clip ins I’m sure I can get that done.. But now what do I do with my dupatta? Or should I leave it up to the MUA to decide what to do with it? I’ve made it clear that no dupatta will be on my head and I’m staying away from red lipstick… I prefer a smokey eye with a neutral lip like the last pic.

Any ideas??

This bride looks great with her dupatta set like this!

I’m sure you’ll make a beautiful bride! Inshallah! :)!

i've seen brides that have lighter dupattas rock them just by having them around their arms. it looks elegant.

also, you can have it pinned on one side or if you will be sitting down for the majority of the time, draping it on the settee or couch you're sitting on with it lightly over one shoulder?

I think I may have to pin it. My mom made me get a really heavy dupatta because it looks more "bridal"... This was before my Nikkah and when I actually had to wear it on my head all evening I was like nope, not happening again.

yeah...pin it on one shoulder and carry it on the other arm.....
too bad it wasn't a light dupatta or you could have simply carried it in the crook of your elbows.
