I’m having a hair dilemma for my wedding and it’s stressing me out! Although, I’m only getting married in August, this hair thing is on my mind. Most brides wear their hair up at their wedding and I understand why… because the dupatta needs that support. But… I hate my hair up! I never have it up… I don’t like it when my hair is up, I think I look ridiculous. I don’t know what to do!! Having my hair down… will my dupatta set properly? It will probably end up covering my jewelry. Ugh. But, if I have it like that one-side look where the hair falls on one side of my shoulder but then will that look weird cuz it won’t look symmetrical? BLAH! Any suggestions? Advice? Anything?!? It would be appreciated!!

I personally find the hair down look on a bride slightly overwhelming. The dupatta, jewelry etc make it look crowded. Hair up, on the other hand, gives a changed and 'cleaner' look. Try doing a trial with both looks, and take pictures. See which one you like better and is more comfortable to carry.
hmm, are you sure it’s just in your head that you don’t look good with your hair up?? i think it brighten’s up every girl’s face when she has her hair up! Also, every girl that I’ve seen with her down and the dupatta on, it just doesn’t look good at all. 
rather sloppy.. but if you’re really convinced that you won’t like it up, you can always have half of your hair up, and the rest down and styled as you want it. Hope you figure it out!

I agree with both of you. I see other brides with their hair up and I like it a lot but for me, I don't know what it is. It's possible, highly possible that it's just in my head. I hardly ever put my hair up so if or when I ever do, I think it looks funny. I guess it's because I'm not use to it? Maybe, when I go for my trials, I'll end up liking it. The picture taking idea is something I'll absolutely consider. Also, I do agree, it does give a cleaner look, maybe I'll just suck it up for that day? Lol. So confused....

When you're all dressed with hair up, dupatta set in place, jewelry and the whole bridal look going, you're gonna look stunning, iA! The updo really works out great so don't worry.

The updo does look great, and I really do hope that it does on me too. But, you're right, when everything comes together, the outfit, jewelry, make-up and all... It probably won't look all that bad. I'm sure, the hair being up won't be the biggest concern of mine. Hehe.
